Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale streams all church services online. We didn't realize how many Active Word viewers and listeners had discovered this! You can watch by going to the
Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale website during service times and clicking on the "Join the live service" link. Service times are Saturdays at 6:00pm, Sundays at 8:00am, 10:15am, and 12:30pm, and Wednesdays at 6:30 and 8:30pm (Eastern time). Pastor Bob usually speaks for all services, but of course sometimes an assistant pastor or guest speaker shares the message. If you miss the live service, new messages are usually added to the archive on the Calvary website within a few days.
For the past few years, radio and television air time has been by far our greatest expense. We found it necessary to cut back on those costs and focus our energies on making our programs and resources available online. We realize this may not be as convenient for people who were listening to our radio programs during morning drive or watching our television programs at a scheduled time. We hope many of our radio listeners will use the
podcast to continue hearing the daily program. Please call us at 1-877-444-9673 to learn about a special offer for receiving television programs by mail on DVD. We are anxious to return to more radio and television outlets as we have the resources to do so. We have never liked to push for contributions, but if you would like to
support this ministry, now is a great time to do so!
If you are having trouble with this video, it could be because of one of the following reasons:
You may not have a fast enough internet connection. We are currently only streaming 700kb files which require at least a DSL connection. However, we will soon be offering lower quality versions of all video files.
You may not have the latest version of the Flash Plugin. To correct this you will need to download and install the latest Flash plugin.
You may be on a computer network with a firewall. Many computer networks have firewall software that will block certain content. In order to correct this, you will need to contact your network administrator.
If you are having trouble playing our podcast videos on your iPod, iPhone, etc., it could be because the device is too old to support the video. We encode our videos using the latest technology; this allows us to offer a podcast which will play well on current portable devices, and still look good on a computer screen.
If iTunes is saying it didn't copy a file because it's not supported, that is the reason. We apologize for any inconvenience.
